I have always had at least a passing interest in taking photos of things. It started when I used to modify my old race car. I used a really bad digital camera to take pictures to show people on internet message boards what I was doing. I never really thought about upgrading to a good camera and when I met my wife Casey, she really got me interested. Since she is a professional, I have learned a lot. Since I met her, I have really tried to improve on the pictures I take, but I have a long way to go yet.

I spent the summer of 2009 shooting with an Olympus OM1 film camera. It taught me a lot about taking a good photo and not trying and repeating with a digital. That being said, I have upgraded recently to a Nikon D90. I feel that the time I spent fumbling around with a film camera has made my photos a little bit better.

My photos have appeared in the "Broad Ripple Gazette" of Indianapolis, IN, and "The Statesman" of Austin, TX. My photos are currently locked due to some people expoiting their usage. If you would like to use one, please ask and I will negotiate permission.
