I've been a photo enthusiast most of my life. Either taking pictures or collecting from relatives.

I'm rarely seen without a camera in hand or close by. Even photos of me as a child, I often have a camera in my hand.

My current tools of the trade are my DSLR - Nikon D80, my manual workhorse - Pentax K1000 and my little point and shoot for those awkward moments when the serious cameras won't do - my Canon SD800.

I am now becoming serious and am researching what it takes to become a professional photographer. Not sure where it will take me, but if nothing else, it gives me the opportunity to feed a side of me that makes me truly happy.

Most of my shots here are as is from the camera. I rarely use Photoshop (unless noted), and my extent of editing may be a rare crop if absolutely needed. Otherwise, I prefer to keep what my camera and I have produced, untouched.

Oh, and my nickname - given to me by my friends - is Snapper. And I love your comments - constructive criticism is the path to a stronger skill.
