Very much an amateur photographer, suddenly obsessed with flowers. I dont think I had realised how many there were just in my immediate surroundings. Just have a basic Canon Ixus 95, but it is good fun, and I am very happy with the results so far. lots of funky things you can do with it, and with flickr, so it is my creative outlet of the moment!
I am rubbish with photoshop, but gradually learning. The majority of the effects used on any of my photos are either created on the camera itself, or using picnik available through flickr. To be honest, I have been so happy with the shots straight from the camera, that I wouldnt know where to start, editing them and being creative with Photoshop!!
Some of the flowers I have taken, I clearly don't know the name of, so if you do, please feel free to tag it, and maybe send me a message or comment with the name?!

I have 2 children - Liam who is 5, and Emelia who is just over 13 months old. They take up all my time and attention, but I am doing my best to make Flickr second best again!

I have created 4 different groups, and administer Explore Flowers also. Each group is quite different, but are all relatively successful. They have been built up with the help of my very special flickr friends - particularly Sminky_Pinky100 and Kounelli (See testimonials >>>> ) as well as many many others, and their help and support means so much.
Please take a look at these groups, and join some or all of them, if you haven'y already. None are invite only, and as for the Post 1 Comment 2/3 groups, well as you already know I don't really enforce that... its a suggestion or guide for members, but there certainly is never any punishment for not doing so!!
