After 15 wild wacky and wonderful years as head of PR/events/marketing and communications for entertainment industry charities, I decided to disconnect the Blackberry and take a sabbatical. With a desire to continue to wear funky jewels on a sabbatical salary (what salary?!), I've kept my hands busy and the creative juices flowing weaving wire and gemstones into one-of-a-kind necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets. Friends and family started stealing what I was making and catROCKS was born. I am madly in love with my brut of a cairn terrier, Sir Simon McDowell, spend a lot of time with my hands in dirt (gardening of course!), love and miss the wee ones who call me Aunti Cat, love to cook, hike, treasure hunt (http://simonrocks.etsy.com) and spend mucho time with the ones I love.
