I’m a mom of three very active little boys. They keep me very busy. When I’m not chasing them or doing the normal boring stuff like cleaning & cooking, you can usually find me reading, crocheting, sewing or doing graphic & web design through my biz Gaea Graphics.

We live on our own little homestead in western NY and are trying to become as self sufficient as possible. We have a long way to go, but each year we try to put in a few more things that will help us achieve that goal.

I had been taught to crochet when I was a little girl by my grandmother. She is an exceptional woman that always has a crochet hook in her hands. I didn’t have a lot of interest in it when I was little, so I didn’t crochet for 20+ years. (whoa …. that makes me feel old!) On my quest to supply my children with handmade toys and to save money by making presents for family and friends, I picked up a hook and started crocheting again. Now I love it!
