Cathy G's Hooked Rugs Art's photostream

I am a self-taught artist doing rug hooking and sewing penny rugs. My rugs are made from wool fabric strips. I use a lot of wool clothing and yardage that I find at thrift stores and tag sales. I buy hand dyed wool from vendors who specialize in this. I have just begun to dye some of the wool myself. I enjoy creating my own patterns for my rugs. Eventually I hope to be creating in my new studio that my husband remodeled for me.
