CATeyes. Get yours at flagrantdisregard.com/flickr

I'm a dad of two lovely daughters (ages 16 and 21). My youngest daughter and I live in Northern Virginia about an hour west of Washington DC; my oldest daughter is a college sophomore...fortunately not too far away. Dad duties come first, and a rewarding career second, and at times they have both impacted my availability to flickr. However, I have a great fondness for the people and images on flickr and will keep trying to carve out time to spend in this terrific place.

I sincerely appreciate each and every visit, comment, and/or fav; but I am most thankful for the wonderful folks I’ve met here on flickr – you guys are great! You continually awe and inspire me with the creativity and beauty you share – my sincerest thanks!

"Once upon a time, there was a really great guy who went by the name of CATeyes. He would post some of the most beautiful landscapes and flower shots on flickr that were always accompanied by thought provoking and inspiring words. His photos would inspire me and his supportive comments would brighten my day. He no longer posts on flickr and while I miss him, I hope that he is happy and still shooting."

"Mitch's photos are poetry brought to life. The only fault I can find with his photography are these MADDENING absences from Flickr, during which we all miss his presence and photos. Come back soon, Mitch!"

"It is beyond hard-to-believe that Mitch is a newbie to photography! His eye for color, interesting compositions, and perfect exposures are seldom matched. If you enjoy sunsets, nature and spectacular views of America, you will not be disappointed in his images. Mitch also has a knack for putting pefect quotations with his shots. I wish I had a few extra hours a day to spend in your stream, Mitch -- and thank you for your kindness and support :)"

The colors explode of life and joy, they invade our screens, our eyes and penetrate until our heart... Here what a simple photograph of Mitch can produce, then only for that, thank you..."

"I think Mitch must live each day to see it end. He has the best, end of the day, photos on Flickr. If we miss a good sunset in our own back yards, I know we can look to Flickr, and Mitch will have a great one for us all to enjoy. He has plenty of other beautiful and interesting photos, but I mostly think of him as the guy with the great sunsets. He is friendly, and he is generous with his comments. He was more than willing to help me out with a photo problem when I first met him on Flickr. He is one of my favorite contacts. You wont be sorry if you spend some time looking at his photos.

"Mitch: a brilliant photographer. His images resonate with vibrant color; his subjects are interesting as they are diverse. Mitch captures the liveliest, most precious qualities in all of the creatures and things--from people to birds to flowers to sunsets--that he chooses for his subjects.

He also happens to be one of the genuinely coolest, kindest people I've found on flickr. (The long search for a Heart of Gold ends here--eat your heart out, Neil Young!)

OK, I'm done being cheesy. For now... ;-)"
