  "The Plastic Palace Alice Flickr stream makes me literally pump my fist and go "YEAH" in the same way that music does sometimes and I feel kind of dirty and uneasy leaving this because I don't ever leave this kinds of things but I've said it before and I'll say it again that in a perfect world Plastic Palace Alice would never have to pay for a camera or film and never have to punch the clock at a straight job because she should be doing album covers and magazine spreads on her terms.   " i think her shots are a good balance of spontaneity and innate talent, with enough forethought to steer her in a good direction. so as quick and as nonchalant as she may shoot, her images are quite good.
  
  this casualness is something photographers should keep in mind. not only to spur interesting results and force one to think, see and shoot differently, but to lessen seriousness, overanalyzation and vanity.
  
  we all have images that we like, but no one looks at or comments on. while we all accept affirmation and compliments, ultimately, it is about enjoying taking photographs, pleasing the most important person, yourself.
