Casa K'inich Children's Learning Center is located in Copan Ruinas, Honduras. The name combines the Spanish word "casa" which means house and k'inich which in Maya is the word for sun. When you enter this House of the Sun you learn about the Maya Culture of Copan, through play and interaction in a bright colorful ambiance. Casa K'inich has welcomed over 70,000 visitors since its opening in 2002. It was created in hope that all Honduran children could learn more about their cultural heritage.
