I'm a Mancunian living down here in Dorset. I'm married and we have three children.

By day I'm a music tutor and website editor.

I've been wanting to learn more about photography for years and bought my first DSLR (or SLR for that matter) in April 2007 and have been steadily learning the ropes since then. I'm really enjoying the learning process and I reckon I've taken a few interesting pictures.

My main camera is now a Canon EOS 50D and I also have a Canon EOS 5 35mm film camera. I previously used a Canon EOS 400D and Canon EOS 40D. I've also got a Powershot S95 which is actually becoming my most used device.

My current lenses are the Canon EF 50mm f1.8, Canon 18-55mm IS and Tamron 70-200mm.
