I can vividly remember the moment that I became enamored with photography. I was about 15 and I saw some of my Uncle's home-developed black and white photos. Up til that point I had expressed myself with pencil and paper, spending hours sketching portraits, still lifes and wildlife. But photography - now there was instant gratification. How incredibly time-saving!
It's taken me a lot of years to learn a little, and I'm still a dunce technically, but I get a ton of personal satisfaction out of what I see on the screen when I download after a day out shooting. And occasionally I even have an "Ah ha" moment when I actually capture something terrific.
Two kids in Canada, one in Winnipeg, one in Thunder Bay.
Born and raised in Thunder Bay, spent two years in Los Angeles, Chile before settling here in Wisconsin in Sept of 07. Having a great time getting to know the area.
