"NOTHING IS WHAT IT APPEARS TO BE"



I am an avid amateur photographer since 2005 when my dear friend Pieter introduced me to the world of photo blogging. I have been a junky ever since.

It has given me a wonderful hobby because I have learned to see things from a different perspective and, what's even more exciting: through fotolog and flickr I got to know so many new friends, not only virtual but I got to meet them in real life too, on meetups all over the country, beyond the border and even across the oceans. They inspire me in so many ways, of course through the photos that they share, but also through their personalities and their friendship!

Though not completely sure what subjects appeal to me the most, I think I have found that landscapes is not one of them. I am very comfortable in trying to capture architectural detail from a different point of view. Looking up is one of the things I always do when exploring my surroundings and often this results in surprising images.

I want to thank all those that stop by my stream and take the time to comment or drop a note. Please keep on sharing your wonderful photos! I hope to be able to stop by all of your streams, too.......
