Wow! I've been on Flickr awhile, and things certainly have changed.....I need to update my profile.
Over the years, my status as a photographer has changed as often as the seasons. I started with a nice Minolta (which I still use from time to time), and a Canon 2 MgPx Powershot, which catapulted me into the digital age of photography. Some of my best work was shot on that little point-n-shoot.
With a few equipment upgrades, and many clients later, I find very few slots in my schedule open.
I have recently done alot of work for high school sports, which is not just about the great jump-shot, but also about the emotions that true achievement and competition bring.
But I believe my "bread and butter" will always be portraiture. To me, there is no better gift than to be able to capture the essence of a person at a certain place and time.
