CSAN is an agency of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales and the UK. It is the umbrella organisation of the Catholic charities providing services to marginalised and vulnerable children, adults and families. CSAN’s mission is to promote social justice in accordance with Catholic social teaching. It works to provide information, networking opportunities and to facilitate collaborative working between its members, departments of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales and Caritas Europa. The main aim is to develop and improve services for the beneficiaries of the member organisations in line with Catholic social teaching.
