I am 45 years old, live in North Georgia. I work in the medical field and have a son who is 20 and a daughter who is 24. Have recently found I like to take pictures as well as enjoy all the wonderful ones posted here. Just hoping soon for a new camera!!

Chapter II: Another birthday has rolled around already, making me 46. I still live in North Georgia and work in the medical field and both my children are fine.
I did however get a new Camera, a Cannon Rebel, and yikes..........so much now to learn.
I finally joined the Cherokee County Photography club and entered my first competition, I submitted my picture titled "Reflections" and the theme was "Vanishing America" and I actually won FIRST place!
I have a long way to go, but will so enjoy the ride!

Chapter III: I now reside in Northern California, near Sacramento...and am blissfully happy!



Our Deepest Fear

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are libertated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
