Describe myself huh? I never know what to say. Physically? Five foot 9 inches tall and 180 pounds. Blonde Hair (well it used to be!) and blue eyes.
Personality? Outgoing, not shy, slightly opinionated, dry sense of humor and I love to be silly sometimes. (That is why I love my dog so much, he doesn't judge me.)
Mentally? Never shot anyone or went to prison. I guess I'm
sane.

I am a water person. I love the sea, spent a lot of time at sea, and make my living from the sea.

I do photography mostly for fun but my job requires me to do a lot of documentation so there is a serious side to it as well. But the places I am lucky enough to go to.. wow! My images do no one any good if they are not viewed so here I am. I have a lot of work and learning to do but I have time now as I wait for spring to come. I hope that everyone enjoys what I post.

I want folks to know that as of now, February 22, 2008 I have just discovered this site and I love it! But I have a huge amount of images and even though I will edit the heck out of them a huge amount will end up posted here. I will be mapping, titling, narrating, and tagging them as quick as I can but you all know how time consuming this can be. So If you come across some sets that have nothing but the original number codes, please bear with me as I will be franticly working on them. Sometimes I just sit here with my head in my hands trying to come up with a title for an image. I am just not that clever I guess!

One last thing: If you write to me, post a question or request, and I do not answer it for a few months, please be patient. It means that I am probably out at sea. Especially if it is summer here in Alaska! If anyone is interested, here are some links to stories about our group and its cleanup projects and many thanks to shagins17551 for the Bighugelabs.com link:

"After looking through over 500 pages of photos in Ted's Photostream over MANY days, I can say with assurance that Ted is someone I am proud to know. He is smart, kind, loves his dogs, is an INCREDIBLE photographer, and is one of the few people I know in my life that is making a difference in this world. Ted, thanks for the education and the breathtaking glimpse into Alaska's shorelines (in different phases of clean!), mountainous landscapes, bountiful fishing, and spoiled rotten doggies. I will forever look forward to your Flickr additions and friendship. :)"

"Ted is one of the nicest people I think I have ever met. My dog needs surgery and he offered to help me pay for it. Not many people would have done that for someone they have never even met. You are truly one of a kind my friend. I'm so happy that I met you here on Flickr."
