I've been taking photos most of my life. I got semi-serious about it 20 some years ago and shot weddings and other events.

I am currently doing real estate photography. I enjoy the work and being outside an office. I've learned a lot about exposure and balancing the indoor and outdoor lighting.

I got into digital in 2000. My first was a Kodak DC290. Built like a tank and it is still taking pix today. Next came a Fuji S7000 - nice camera, but I never really enjoyed using it. Next came a Nikon D70 and it was love at 1st click. Six years and 250k+ exposures and only one minor repair. I picked up a D40 to use while the D70 was in repair. Nice camera, but no D70. I acquired a D200 in 2006. It was an incredible piece of technology in its day. I'm now coveting the D300..

I started doing HDR in 2006. The D200 is wonderful for HDR work given its ability to do a 9 exposure bracket. I prefer Photomatix for HDR rendering. I've been playing with 1 shot HDR from a single RAW capture, and have found that it does have its place. I have also been playing with the HDR capabilities included in Paint Shop Pro X2. I'm not terribly impressed. Recently acquired LucisArt 3 ED/SE and it has brought me a lot of new customers. Real Estate agents are always looking for something new and different and LucisArt gives them that look.
