The Cape Coral Police Department Flickr stream is a part of our new Community Engagement Program. This channel will serve as a place where the Police Department can communicate directly with our community and share information about what we are doing to help keep Cape Coral a safe place to live and work.

The Cape Coral Police Department has over 231 sworn officers dedicated to keeping our community safe. The Cape Coral Police Department has a number of units- Patrol, Investigations, Traffic, K9, Aviation, Marine, and others to serve the varied needs of our community.

Cape Coral is a coastal community located in southwest Florida and is the largest city between Tampa and Miami. Cape Coral has a growing population of more than 165,000 people and a land area of almost 120 square miles. Cape Coral is also known for its 400-plus miles of canals and access to the Gulf of Mexico.
