I'm a beginning photographer - I think I can call myself a photographer now. I can get one acceptable picture out of a thousand maybe? (Now it's time for you to say "don't be so modest!") But I love taking pictures, and that's the important part of being a photographer.

My grandparents bought Ricoh XF-30 Super (w/date), a point-and-shot film camera right after my birth. We used this camera for a long time and it still works today (now they are using Canon PowerShot A590 that I bought for them). My first real camera was the Sony DSC-F707. My parents bought it when I was nine years old. At first, I just played with it. Eventually I self taught myself the basics, and got interested in taking photos. My generous uncle bought me the Canon Rebel XSi in 2008 that I use now.

I also have a Canon EOS Elan IIe. I like black and white photography. I also love the process from developing film to printing in the darkroom.

Photo editing software that I use are Digital Photo Professional and GIMP.

I am the administrator of * Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana * group.

I am also the creator, designer, and administrator of the website of Bloomington High School South Department of Fine Arts.
