I live along the Front Range of Colorado in the LIttle Thompson Canyon NW of Lyons. It is a beautiful area and provides much inspiration for my images. We worked two years to keep a dam from destroying this historic riparian habitat and our home. I was able to use my photos in the fight.
I got started as a photographer shooting for my profession as an art historian [ I taught at NAU and CSU] and using my images for teaching. Nature and architecture are now my two favorite subjects. Living so close to the Colorado Plateau has been a wonderful photographic opportunity and experience.
I love photography and confess that I am a cameraholic. I use 35mm Nikon equipment and most recently digital SLRs, the Fuji S2 pro and the Nikon D70. I do all my own printing and enjoy discovering new creative possibilities in PhotoShop.
