I am a silver surfer. Love photography I have been taking photos since the 50s, film then digital for 5 years. I was a semi pro for 3 years taking motor sport photos. I am married and I am very lucky as my wife loves photography also.
My main hobbies are steam railways , Shipping , Aircraft, wildlife and landscapes. I use all canon gear 5D Mk II & 7D cameras etc.I had A Heart Attack late November 2008 +A Triple Heart Bypass so just starting to get my life together again,Had a shock again in November 2009 had my second heart attack while out in my local park taking photographs of trees in autumn time. This resulted in 5 days in hospital,there they fitted a Defibulator and a heart pace maker, this has really slowed me down but will not give up, Photography is my life +My Wife I just love to have a camera in my hand. I Was Born In 1942 Then Cameras Where For The Rich People To Own I Took Up Photography In The Early 1960s And Have Been Interested Ever Since Started With A Secondhand Camera A Kodak If I Remember Right.This Old Age Arr I Used To Develope My Own Film In My Bedroom +Print & Enlarge Them Also. regards john.
