I live in Canfield, located in NE Ohio, near Youngstown and combine my love for photography with my love for motorcycling. It is rare that I will be out on the bike and not have my camera with me.
I have been shooting for many years, self taught until recently when I finally decided to get some professional training at the New York Institute of Photography. That opened up a whole new aspect of photography to me (an I learned some too). Now I shoot anything from portraits to nature to just-for-fun snapshots.
I retired recently due to a plant closing and have pursued my photography to a higher degree. Through that endeavor, I have made many new friends along the way.
Seems like the trend lately for some people is to "advertise" their own photostreams in their comments on other people's photos. This is not the same as showing how you handled a similar situation of location bu posting a thumbnail photo linked for comparison. Personally, this practice bothers me and I will delete any comment that does so on any of my photos. You name should be all the advertisement you need.
Remember - Ordinary photographers take ordinary photos of extraordinary things. Extraordinary photographers take extraordinary photos of ordinary things.

As my contact list has grown, it has become harder and harder to try to view and comment on everyone's photos every day. When I do, I find that I am ignoring other work that needs to be done. I just cannot keep up with both. I will however try to view as many photos from my contacts as I can. I may not comment but rest assured, I will view them. What I miss one day, I will catch the next and comment on a few here and there when my time allows. Thank you for understanding!
