When I discovered Flickr three years ago in March 2008 (or more accurately, when a couple of friends talked/dragged me into it), I never would have anticipated all I'd learn about photography. But I've learned a ton, and in January 2011, I made a leap that I'd been planning for a good six or seven months: I started my own portrait photography business, named c.c. photography. I specialize in on-location, candid portraits for kids, families, and babies in Portland, Oregon. Even if it's only ever just a fun side hobby with a small stream of income, it's a blast being able to do what I love and have it not feel like work.
