Naomi Yasui graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design with a BDes in Material Art & Design. As a ceramicist, working in sculpture and installation, her current interests revolve around the psychology of domestic objects and the history of ceramic industry in Europe. She employs early industrial ceramic practices to create objects of ambiguous utilitarian function.

She currently lives and works in Toronto, Canada.
