Encouraged to follow my dreams, I began painting in November 2000. I have found my passion... I love to paint!

I am considered a contemporary realist oil painter. I create passionate oil paintings with rich lighting and color.

I joined Flickr during an internet search for painting references... and I've met some new and wonderful creative friends here!!! I love you guys!!!

My subjects at this time depict backyard bird paintings, flowers, fruit and I love to paint the colorful patina of rusty buckets-- an abstract view of realism. Lately, I've begun to paint dog paintings!

Forgive me if I take a while to respond... when I am painting new work for a show, I stay in my studio and away from my computer. I occasionally come out for air and post my latest paintings... please be patient with me!

I also have not had time to discover what "groups" are yet so please do not be offended if I don't join yours... I feel a bit like gumby with all the responsibilities I handle.
