I do not mind anyone marking my photos as favorites without leaving a comment. In fact, I consider a fave the best compliment! However, if you mark a photo as a fave, and you have a private photostream, or appear to be using a flickr account to collect images, I will block you, removing my image from your favorites.

Thank you to those who have marked me as a contact. I always consider it an honor! I may not always reciprocate, and please do not be offended. I try to keep my contacts to a minimum...as I always like to comment and share with the friends I've made on flickr, I do not want to make it so I cannot keep up. I understand it works the other way, and sometimes enjoy 'bookmarking' someone whose stream I enjoy, not being offended if they do not reciprocate. Occasionally I will review my list and delete mute or inactive contacts.


Equipment:
Most photos were taken with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi/450D, and either the kit lens, Canon EFS18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS, EF-S55-250mm f/4-5.6IS telephoto or Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens.
Some earlier images were shot with my old but trusty pocket Canon PowerShot S230 Digital Elph. I have recently upgraded to the Canon SD780 IS Elph as my "carry around" camera.
My shots are handheld, and I prefer natural light, rarely (if ever) do I use a tripod or flash.
