Thank you so much for looking at some of my photographs. They say more about me than anything I could write here.

I like to take pictures of the ordinary. There are things, people, buildings, etc. we go by every minute that are never noticed. When I notice, I tend to document. I like to give some kind of life to the ordinary. If that makes for ordinary pictures, that's ok with me...the pleasure for me is in the shooting and documenting. Everything appeals to me as far as subject matter goes, but some of my favorite things include anything vintage (signs, motels, neon, architectural details etc) and what I see as I travel on my many road trips.

I find a desolate beauty in the abandoned and dilapidated.I believe that graffiti is art, no matter how controversial the canvas. I never grow tired of looking at almost everything.

Recently I've stopped resisting using my iPhone for capturing, and look at it as a separate medium - as a result, I'm having a lot of fun with it and all the various apps. I love the lo-fi look, and have been using some of the lo-fi apps on my Mac on some of my DSLR photos. It's fun, an added medium.
