It has taken me awhile to decide where I fit and where photography and cameras fit in my life. Currently, I am a photography enthusiast who works a regular day job. I am exploring photography and cameras for my own edification and enjoyment.

My life changed drastically after hurricane Katrina. I moved from New Orleans to Phoenix with my partner. Our apartment was destroyed by the hurricane; the bedroom ceiling was on the bed and you could see out through the wall. All of the artwork had been knocked off of the walls and was laying on the floor. The place was full of mold and the ceiling paint in the living room was hanging down as if unrolled by a magic paint roller. Of the items not damanged, we were only able to save what would fit in our Geo Metro. Having no income and no place to live, we headed West.

Since then, we have re-established ourself and are making it day to day. I have been able to indulge myself by buying and using some vintage and collectible film cameras. I have also been able to replace a small portion of my studio equipemt. However, I have not had a significant income from photography since moving to Phoenix. Even though I am not engaged in photography professionally, I have been enjoying the medium by exploring film by using vintage and collectible cameras.

Comment and critique is always welcome as I want to become a better image artisit.
