I don't claim to be the best photographer in the whole wide world. I've always believed that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that anyone, anywhere can be a photographer. I take photos for myself and nobody else. It's been one of my favorite past times for the past few years and I love to watch myself progress and continue to grow with my photos. I can't say I'll ever be a professional, but it is something I love to do and I will always do it no matter what.

Currently I'm studying Computer Graphics & Design at Keiser College in Lakeland, FL. Graphic design is my passion and I know it's going to be something I will be successful in. I live life day by day, and wherever this career choice will lead me I am willing to follow. Everything is in fate's hands and I'm just following along with an open mind.

I recently received a new Canon EOS Rebel XT as a Christmas gift from my wonderful parents. With this new chapter in my life, I have decided to delete previous photos taken with my old point-and-shoot - out with old, in with the new sort of thing. I'm extremely new to dSLR but I've had a longtime interest in photography in general. I started about five years ago when I was 15 with my first digital camera. My interest in learning photography has grown ever since. I'm sure it will take awhile for me to get comfortable with the concept of SLR's, lenses, etc. I'm very open minded and willing to learn from anyone and everything that can help me. My hope is that when others view my photography, they keep in mind that I am very new to this camera. I also hope that more professional photographers are willing to offer me constructive criticism.
