Let's see... I kind of hate these things. It's hard to write about myself without it sounding like a personals ad. "I like candle lit dinners, long walks on the beach and my man." I'm also one of those people who hates having my own picture taken. So you won't see much of me here.

Photography is a fairly new endeavor for me. I have never been very good about it. I finally took one too many vacations with no pictures to show for it. So when friends of mine asked me to accompany them to the Dominican Republic a few years ago, I was determined to photograph as much of the trip as I could. It's been a conscious effort that I've really begun to enjoy. Since then, I've purchased my "big boy camera" and I'm still learning how to use it.

I've become addicted to Flickr. If I've added you as a contact or a friend, that means I've seen something on your page that either inspired me, made me smile, laugh out loud, or think. So I feel that I should let you know I was there. Otherwise I feel like a weird stalker. Which I'm not. Really. Trust me. I'm just a guy in Florida trying to learn how to take better pictures and be better about taking them.
