Located in the heart of the Calgary, the Cultural District is home to dozens of arts and culture hotspots like galleries, museums, theatres, concert halls and outdoor festival space, plus excellent shopping, dining and nightlife all within a few browsable blocks.

This vibrant neighbourhood is filled with a high concentration of arts and culture venues including the EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts, the recently restored Grand Theatre, Vertigo Theatre, the Glenbow Museum, the Art Gallery of Calgary, Cantos Music Foundation and Art Central, along with many other galleries and music venues.

There’s always something to see and do in the Cultural District. From people watching and relaxing in Olympic Plaza, discovering Calgary’s architecture, taking in the entertainment of buskers, shopping local street vendors and retailers, and trying some of the city’s most decadent and diverse food, to music festivals, parades, fireworks, world-class theatre, dance and visual arts.
