Been a photo junkie for as long as I can remember. I remember when I was a kid - maybe 8 or 9 years old.. having a 110 film camera.. took pictures everywhere I went. Since then, I've progressed a bit in my choice of camera - now I use a Canon 40D (digital SLR), along with a Macbook for postprocessing (Aperture 2.0, Lightroom, Photoshop CS3, Photomatix). I love taking photos and sharing them with friends and family... it's great to be able to capture special moments in time and preserve them for people I care about.
A few months back, I found a great HDR tutorial, which REALLY helped me get the look I wanted with Photomatix ... the guy who wrote the tutorial (kevin crafts) creates some amazing HDR images. Here's a link to the tutorial he put together,... hope you find it as helpful as I did!

And here's a link to his HDR Photostream:

His work really inspired me to get more creative with my HDR images, and I believe I've really improved since reading and following his tutorial
