BIOGRAPHY
Angeline Tsao, Founder & Designer
Angeline Tsao launched Cake + Milk Paperie in 2007 out of the desire to create beautifully handcrafted paper goods that are both visually striking and practical. Inspired by nature, fine art and love, Angeline conceives each collection with her “sweet, yet edgy” design aesthetic in mind.

Specializing in creating custom stationery for her new and devoted clientele, Angeline uses the Gocco printing system to create each piece individually by hand. She chooses to utilize only the highest quality materials such as shimmery metallic threads and sumptuous satin ribbons. Angeline also employs eco-friendly materials such as 100% recycled cardboard, biodegradable clear bags as well as paper produced by wind power.

Prior to founding Cake + Milk Paperie, Angeline worked as a fashion designer for a junior clothing line. Angeline holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of California, Irvine and has studied at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.

The company is based in Los Angeles, California where Angeline resides with her husband and one-year-old son.



OUR ECO-CONSCIOUS PAPERGOODS INFORMATION

Buttercream flats are 80lb cover, 30% recycled total recovered fibers and are acid-free. Kraft flats (imprintables) are 80lb archival cover, 100% recycled, with at least 30% post-consumer waste content, and are acid + chlorine-free. White flats are 100lb cover, produced with wind power and are acid-free. Cardboard flats are 100% recycled, 100% post-consumer waste content and are approximately 150lb cover.

All of our envelopes are at least 30% post-consumer waste recycled, green seal certified and/or made from sustainable forests. Kraft and gris envelopes feature 100% recycled content with at least 30% post-consumer waste content. All of our cellophane sleeves are 100% biodegradable.
