Well, hello there!

My name is Caiti. I run a part-time freelance design company called Caitidid Designs, named after the affectionate nickname that my grandfather gave me when I was a wee one. I have a particular interest in designing unique and non-traditional wedding and event invitations, as well as creating identity packages for artists and photographers and other creative types.

In my invitation designs, I am drawn to elegant and bold typography, unique graphics, layers, hand-drawn elements, patterns, and colors that make a statement. I work closely with clients to design truly unique and personalized wedding invitation suites that represents the love and vibrancy of each couple. Since I work with external printing consultants, a range of printing methods are available to fit a variety of budgets.

I have such a range of interests besides graphic design, and my Flickr will often show bits of these parts of my life. Cooking, cafe dates, board games, frolicking around Oak Park and Chicago, decorating, art retreats, and farmer's markets will often appear as subjects in my Flickr stream.
