Did you know that the land around the Hollywood Sign is for sale? We have until April 14 2010 to save it from real estate development that would deface this world-renowned landmark, and forever lose a rare oasis of intact natural habitat.

That’s why we’re launching the Campaign to Save Cahuenga Peak, the 138 acres behind and to the west of the Hollywood Sign. More than a backdrop for an icon, the land has great recreational value--especially for hikers--and if we can raise the funds, the land and its trails will be added to Griffith Park, one of the most heavily visited parks in the United States.
