Most of my life was spent being quiet, shy and overlooked... because I was afraid to show "me" to people. I was afraid to let people in. I would say I had built a wall, but walls are easily torn down... where what I had created wasn't. It took 30 years, but I have managed to finally climb OVER that wall... leaving behind fears and worries... and emerging alive, open and living each day as if it were my last. We are all connected somehow... be it through our similarities or through our differences. Some of us are connected only by a mere strand... and others connected at the very roots of our souls. And, let me tell you simply, it's stunningly amazing what happens when you're able to finally not only see but feel this connection.
