The Café is a not-for-profit, non-alcoholic, volunteer-run café that is affordable and open in the evenings, set up in Spring 2008. It hosts a variety of activities and events, as well as being a place for a quiet, corporate-free tea and cake. We are always open to suggestions for future progressions, and encourage active participation in this community project.

It contains a free shop, lots of free books as well as a small lending library. It hosts art exhibitions, film showings, board games and occasional music, as well as being available as a private meeting space in the daytime.
