Just here to enjoy the pictures and learn how to take better ones.



I currently own two cameras:

1. A Canon Digital Rebel XTi with a couple of lenses ...still trying to figure out how to take consistently good pictures with this camera. (I always mange to get one good shot from a series....but not without first filling the entire 1 Gig card first).

2. Canon PowerShot SX10IS. Just upgraded from PS S3IS. This looks like a very promising digital camera.

Past cameras:

Canon PS S3IS – many problems, in the shop more than in my hands.
Canon PS S2IS – Poor quality workmanship
Canon Rebel XT – Plagued with dust problems on the sensor
Pentax Option 450 – Never let me down – wish it didn’t drop down the stairs and break.
DX3600 – Good Starter – went through batteries like crazy

My first SLR camera was a Pentax (fully manual). It was a gift from my wife back in 1979. It served me well and thought me photography...the stuff I now have to re-learn with my digital SLR.
