I'm a musician, a photo buff, and founded a competitor to Flickr before Flickr even came along! (fotopic.net in case you were wondering).

I occasionally use film on gig shoots - most commonly grunge shots where I'm a big fan of Ilford Delta3200 and Ilford HP5+ dev'd in Microphen.

My main passion is gig and concert photography, and I've been namechecked and my photos used by many bands local to Wakefield and Leeds. I've had my name in CD covers, and quite enjoy doing large stadium gigs. There is of course limits to what I'm allowed to upload here (especially when on assignment) but in the past I've photographed acts as diverse as Paleday, Franz Ferdinand, Jimmy Somerville, The Cribs, Mumford & Sons, Dolly Rockers, Scooch, East 17, Rick Astley, Bananarama, Tight Fit, ABC, Dr Feelgood, Chew Lips, Tom Robinson, Minny Pops, John Cooper Clarke, Mark E Smith & The Fall, Pet Shop Boys, Eureka Machines, Dr Blue, ZZ Eliminator, Heather Small, Mike Read, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Runaround Kids, Rosie Doonan, Urban Strings, Telegram Sam, Jonny The Firth, Antonio Lulic, Shrood, Piskie Sits, Steve Lamacq, Urban Cookie Collective, Delorean Drivers, Paul Morricone, Shrood, Laura & The Tears, Royal Showdown, Vessels, and lots more.

I enjoy promoting local musical talent so I'm usually happy to show up to band gigs around the local area and take photos for a few pints if in Wakefield, or for the price of travel and a hot meal a bit further afield.
