Creative writing is my deepest passion & "calling". I have several novels (fiction) started... but nothing complete or published. (Just short stories on my blog.)

However, my passion for photography started when, my dad bought me a Pentax K1000 (35mm) when I was about 12.

My favorite subject are my 2 dogs (Coleman & Sunny), most nature, including but not limited to: sunset / rises & the moon, winter scenes, & odd weather / cloud formations).

When on vacation, anything & everything would find it's way into my view finder! :)

Yes, I ramble sometimes. (Hence the name of my blog.) ;)

Due to some physical issues (the past 4 years), I have not been able to take part in the art of photography, like I used to.

Furthermore, since 35mm has pretty much gone by the way side, I find that I'm without a decent camera to show case my talent.

Christmas 2010 my husband bought me a Nikon Cool Pix... I'm still learning all it's unique features... like macro.

Once we have the funds, the DSLR that I would prefer to buy, would be a Pentax, so I can use the lenses I already have.

That's me in a nutshell... as least the photography part, that is! :o)
