I was born in Curacao, West Indies and moved to Holland with my family after 3 years. We lived in Holland for 3 years then immigrated to the states in 64'.

Currently, I live in Maui, Hi. and I like to take pictures of surfing, windsurfing, landscapes, nature, bugs, animals, closeups, my kitties.
I started taking pictures in the 70s and became interested in surf photography in the early 80s. I was a contributor for Surfing and Surfer magazine in the mid 80s and Larry Moore was my mentor.
When I moved to Maui, I slowly built up my digital equipment
I love taking surfing pictures when the waves get big and clean.

I have a Canon 40D
17-85 EFS zoom, a 70-300 4-5.6 zoom and a 400mmL 4-5.6
super telephoto and a 1.4 extender. And I recently purchased a 60mm macro lens. I love it!!
I also love my Canon S2 IS, and my Pentax W 10 for some water shots. I am also experimenting with an old Nikonos III
underwater camera.
