I became engaged and enamoured with photography in college when I worked for photo services taking pics for the campus newspaper and annual. This got me hooked on more of a photo journalistic bent as 95% of what I did then was candids in b&w. That is still my passion although I do enjoy landscape and travel photography and am trying to learn off camera lighting (strobisit) portraiture. Travel and photography were made for each other!
I am an engineer by training and my day job consists of selling industrial automation and software, so I also love all of the techie aspects of digital photography. I have to say though my weakest link has to be post processing. To me that is not near as much fun as taking to the street and just shooting.
