Irish guy, living in Sydney, I take photos for fun and because I have a bad memory.
I don't know a whole lot about the practical side of photography and I am equipment / photshop illiterate.
What I lack in technical ability / know-how, I hopefully make up by having a good eye for the oft ignored. I like a lot of colour in my photos and try to capture something that is different from the obvious shot. I don't have a great understanding of lighting which is something I do want to improve.
Photographers I admire are Martin Parr, Cindy Sherman and Jeff Wall.
I love music and going to gigs but unfortunately I'm not very good at gig photography. insert unhappy smiley face here.
