Burgundy Images' photostream  

I am a keen amateur photographer with a particular liking for travel and observational photography, but I'll shoot anything as you will see!.

I live in England, although I was born in Ireland. I joined Flickr in 2006 just to see what it offered and I'm enjoying putting up some of my current and past images for others to see/hate/like/ignore as they wish.

I use a Canon EOS 5DMk2 with a 28-300 IS L lens at the moment but I used a 5D, a 10D and a 20D in my digital past and an EOS 3 in the film era. I used to use a 28-135 and a 100-400 IS USM L lens but it's SO much easier with a single lens which never leaves the camera, and helps keep dust OUT!!!

I have a small Lumix camera (12m pixels and a Leica lens) which I carry around. It does OK, but the 5DMk2 is my passion. I am trying to carry that around with me more this year.

I also use my phone and although the images are never as strong as a proper camera, I do enjoy just playing with it.
