Birthed from the heart of a 300 foot Redwood tree in the Forests of Humboldt County California, Burgess has been a lifelong musician, filmmaker and Community Life Pastor. In high school he was elected class president, became one of the first DJs for RICE RADIO, was photographer for five PBS documentaries and was an artist for seven years with the ‘Pastel’s on the Plaza’ program. At 16 he taught a college-level course entitled “The History of Avant-Garde Cinema” at Praxis Private School.

While accomplishing a film degree at the California Institute of the Arts, Burgess established a radical leftist art collective, coordinated the closed circut television station “Channel 8″ and served on student council as a representative of the Board of Trustees. During his first post-graduate year he was one of three owners of the Il Corral club in East Hollywood where he established The Druid Underground Film Festival and booked a weekly music show.

Burgess is presently involved in many artistic endeavors. He orchestrates the Los Angeles based gospel band: SKULL KISS.
Making films also is especially revvenous of his engine.
