I'm a pretty adventurous soul. I first got into landscape photography as an excuse to get outside and hike more often, but now I've really caught the photo bug for real. I had stopped taking pictures for a while due to college/life getting in the way, but that all changed last spring when I got a new Nikon D40x for my birthday. Since then I've been getting back into my forgotten passion, learning the quirks and advantages of digital photography over film. Most of my stuff that's posted right now is pretty experimental. I'm hoping that as I get more practice, my technique will improve. I've just begun to experiment with HDR and Photoshop techniques, and hope to do a lot more with them in the future.
