If you want to use any of my work please get in touch with me. I'm generally amendable but I like to know the where whens and who's of how my work is being used.

I like sharing and working with people to make new images but I think it's only fair to get in touch first...thanks!!!

I'm a doctoral student at Johns Hopkins school of public health. My work focuses on Occupational and Environmental health. I'm interested in indoor air quality and the effect of substandard housing on health. My original background is in toxicology and nursing. I also work for the healthy homes division of the Baltimore City Health Department.

please don't be offended if I don't get back to you very quickly I'm terrible at getting in touch with people it has nothing to do with you / your work / my interest in you - it's just me being a terrible communicator - (if you hadn't already decided based on that little bit o' word salad)

Another flicky - Christine - painted several of my shots recently - if you want to check them out follow this link - they are really nicely done - thanks again lady!

    solodad300 says:

"Bukutgirl's work is intense. Her self portrait series can show vulnerability and strength and wonderment and fear all at the same time. Her work engages the viewer and evokes strong emotions. She also knows her camera and pushes it to perform... all the while exploring what else it can do.
She works too hard, she isolates herself too much, probably doesn't eat well but she makes consistently amazing pictures.
Without Flickr I never would have met her and would have been denied both her thoughtfulness and exposure to her tremendous talent.
She is a unique talent even here among the thousands of talented Flickr members."

    Steve Cairney says:

"For a scientist, Liz has an amazingly artistic eye. She may claim to be new to digital, but the pixel hasn't removed the integrity or warmth from her works. Her compassionate approach to composition and immense understanding of the human touch means that, I for one, will be hanging her prints on my wall. If you have a soul, I suggest you do the same..."
