I always wanted to be a photographer when I grew up, but life chose a different career path for me...

After retiring from the military, I selected a job that still allows me to do stuff I like besides photography, but still keeps me involved with pictures. I enjoy taking pictures on my days off and just driving around the island and seeing what life has to offer. I usually document activities photographically rather than create pictures in a studio setting, although I am trying that route too--see my waterdrops set. I enjoy looking at beautiful images, drawing inspirations from others, and learning from what I see already created/captured and there are some amazing people and photographs here on Flickr. I always welcome any comments and or criticisms, as I am trying to become better and create what I see in my mind.

Not that it matters, but I shoot with Nikon equipment and always have since birth, or shortly thereafter :)
