Who is bubbleboo?

Mum. Writer. Shutterbug.

I am Shutterbug.

I can usually be found with my camera glued to my left eye.

{Well. Not glued, obviously. That would be painful. And just insane}

I love to edit my photos as well as shoot them. Usually, Photoshop is my toy of choice, although I have recently fallen in love with Picnik – and am experimenting with GIMP. I love finding new actions and effects!

Right now, I am most comfortable with nature photography. I love shooting in natural light, and seeing the way the light changes throughout the day. I love to play with the light and see how best I can use it to my advantage. I take a lot of plant and flower pictures – and I can most often be found outside, bug hunting! To this end, I am saving for a macro lens, in order to take the kinds of shots that I aspire to. Until that day, I make do with my trusty kit lens.

Portraiture is something that I really want to work on, and I am constantly soaking up as much information as I can find…and practising on unsuspecting friends and their children! I love to shoot outdoors, although ideally I am working towards creating a base of my own, too. The weather is too unpredictable to always rely on outdoor shoots!

I am Writer.

Always working to better my writing and be published one day!

I am Mum.

And what could be more important than that?

I am a SAHM to one amazing little boy who is dealing with Asperger’s and various physical limitations.

I am an Apple geek.

Well, I say geek.

Technically, I suppose I’m just an Apple devotee.

I’m working on the ‘geek’ part.

Other than writing and photography I enjoy music, playing acoustic guitar, reading {voraciously!}, walking and going to the gym {when I have the energy!}
