I'm a French geek living in London who has a passion for travelling and photography.
The shots I upload in Flickr are here for a number of reasons: they are purely documentary and tell a story of a trip undertaken, something seen, etc; they are experiemental as I am still learning how to use a camera to its full potential; or they are shots I really like.
I have been interested in photography since 1994. My equipment has evolved over the years and has included:
- Canon EOS 500,
- compact APS,
- Olympus Camedia C50 Zoom,
- Canon EOS 3,
- Nokia 6230 camera phone,
- Canon EOS 5D,
- Nokia 6234 camera phone,
- Leica D-Lux 3,
- Nokia E65 camera phone,
- Nokia N97 camera phone,
- Nokia N900 camera phone.
Most pictures were taken by one of the Canon EOS cameras but occasionally you will find shots taken by one of the other cameras. As a result, the quality of shots varies a lot but I hope you will like what you see here.
As of today, my basic kit is:
- Canon EOS 5D
- EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens
- EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM lens
Complemented by:
- 105mm f/2.8 Sigma macro lens
- 20mm f/1.8 Sigma lens
- EF 85mm f/1.8 USM lens
- EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye lens
- EF 50mm f/1.2L USM lens
- Speedlite 580EX
- Speedlite 220EX
